One downside of visiting the same city seven times in sixteen years is that some of my favourite places one trip are gone the next. The upside is that when mourning the loss of one of those favourite places in Buenos Aires, I noticed something a block or two away: the Our Lady of Mercy Basilica.
I’m not sure how it could have escaped me before, but it’s built right up to the street, which in turn is narrow. It’d get much more attention if it were set back from a Parisian boulevard.
