I hadn’t realised that Biblical battles were clothing optional.
I saw it in the art gallery at New Norcia, the monastery town 100 minutes north of Perth. It was painted during the reign of Queen Victoria: an era remembered for long dresses and covered ankles, rather than hunky naked men.
