What do tickets to performances at the State Library cost?
- Previews – $19
- Other sessions – $19 (Concession), $25 (General Admission)
The Concession rate applies to students and/or holders of concession cards (including Seniors cards).

Is seating allocated?
No.
Can you bring your own food and drinks into the Geographe Room?
Yes, except please don’t bring in any alcohol. There are plenty of nearby bars if you’d like a drink before or after.
Can you enter the building from Francis Street?
Yes.
Can you get into the building from the southern entrance?
Yes, but please be aware that part of the James Street Mall is closed for redevelopment. Click here for a map, showing what paths are open.
Is there a car park under the library?
Yes. It’s the CPP State Library car park. You drive in from Francis Street.

What if you have mobility issues?
The library’s website has details of how you can get into and around it. The Geographe Room is on the Ground Floor, near a unisex accessible toilet.
